I choose not to work directly with insurance companies because doing so allows me to provide therapy that is individualized, confidential, and not constrained by administrative requirements. Insurance plans often require a diagnosis, limit the number of sessions, or dictate the type of treatment I can provide. By remaining out‑of‑network, I’m able to focus fully on your goals, your pace, and what is clinically appropriate for you. Many clients are still able to use their out‑of‑network benefits, and I’m happy to provide superbills for reimbursement, or discuss a sliding fee as I have openings for that option.
